The accompanying project “Sustainable Finance and Climate Protection (SFCP)” of the BMBF funding measure “Klimaschutz und Finanzwirtschaft (KlimFi)” started with a two-day kick-off conference on 23.02.23 and 24.02.23 at the Spielfeld Digital Hub in Berlin.
After the welcome and a presentation of the research projects, Prof. Dr. Timo Busch moderated a panel discussion on the first day of the event on the topic of “Expectations of Civil Society, Politics and Business on Research”. The panel included representatives of the German Savings Banks Association, the Deutsche Bundesbank, WWF Germany, the German Accounting Standards Committee and the Sustainable Finance Advisory Council. On the second day of the event, members of the KlimFi research projects had the opportunity to exchange ideas and network in workshops.
