How to green the European Auto ABS market?
Loriana Pelizzon, Max Riedel, and Carmelo Latino at the Leibniz Institute for Financial Market Research SAFE have published a literature survey (link) on this topic of growing relevance. The authors review the entire value chain of the securitization process and recent regulatory developments. They arrive at the conclusion that a Green Auto ABS should be based on both a green use of proceeds and a green collateral-based methodology.
