“Sustainable Finance and Climate Protection” (SFCP) is the name of the accompanying project planned by the BMBF for the “Klimaschutz und Finanzwirtschaft” (KlimFi) funding measure. In a dialogue process, the areas of science, politics and the financial sector will be connected around the topic of climate protection and the financial sector and findings from science will be communicated to politics and the financial sector.
Two dialogue forums will be held as central events for all program participants and interested stakeholders to discuss not only the program’s research projects, but also other topics relevant to the objectives of the funding measure. In keynote speeches, contextual information on the funding measure will be presented, also from the perspective of practitioners. Subsequently, questions and findings from the program’s research projects will be discussed in depth in workshops, supported by corresponding background papers. In between, the research projects will have the opportunity to present themselves in poster pitch sessions and exchange ideas with other participants.
